How do I navigate the virtual tour?
When you navigate an interactive virtual tour the image will gradually render from a black & white grid, to blurred images, and then to the final tour. How quickly this happens will depend on your Internet connection speed and computer. Once you see your curser replaced by two circles the tour is completely rendered. Click and hold your left mouse button in the tour area and begin to drag slowly in ANY direction for 360º viewing. You can also zoom in and out by using the "shift" and "control" keys, or use the QuickTime + and - keys located at the bottom of the tour. Be sure to check out the "benchmark" located at the very bottom of each tour!
I can't see anything in the viewer…
QuickTime
To view interactive tours, you will need to use a browser with the QuickTime Player Plug-in. This plug-in is free and installs easily on your computer. It will work on all the popular browsers like Windows Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox. Most newer computers (PC and Mac) will have QuickTime already installed. Visit the QuickTime Web site to download an update if you see a graphic of a broken QuickTime logo (see graphic "B" at right). Note: ignore the option to upgrade to the "Pro" version (it costs $29.99) because you only need the free viewer. After the download is complete, double-click on the file to install the software on your computer. Follow the onscreen prompts until you receive the "successfully installed" message. Return to www.deepcreekdiscoveries.com and click the "refresh" button. Your computer is now equipped to view tours. Happy Touring!
