| The Savage Reservoir is impounded by the Savage River Dam on the Savage River in Garrett County. Completed in 1952, the Reservoir has a normal surface area of 360 acres and is used for drinking water,flood control, and recreation. It is owned by Upper Potomac River Commission. |
